Attractions, Attractions, Attractions...You'll never run out of things to do! Take a historical walking tour and learn about the colorful history of the Fort Worth Stockyards! Walking tours visit historic locations throughout the Stockyards.   Managed by the City of Fort Worth, Parks and Community Services Department, the Fort Worth Herd presents Stockyard visitors with a glimpse into the past and Fort Worth's rich western heritage with the world's only twice daily cattle drive.  The Cowtown Cattlepen Maze is a unique form of entertainment for the entire family, group, or class field trip! With over 5,400 square feet of frequently changed wooden pathways, resembling the cattlepens of the old west, the maze is always a challenge!  The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame pays tribute to cowboys and cowgirls who have excelled in the sports of rodeo, cutting, ranching and those individuals who have dedicated their lives to promoting and preserving Texas Western heritage.  The Texas Trail of Fame is a virtual chronological history of our Western Heritage in the United States, Texas, and the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District.  The Livestock Exchange Building was erected in 1902 as an office for cattle traders, and was once known as "The Wall Street of the West" for all the activity that occurred in the Stockyards.  Ride the Trinity River Trails: Come take a trail ride with our experienced guides along the beautiful landscape of the Trinity River. This is a great family or individual activity that all can enjoy.  The professional photographers at the Jersey Lilly Old Time Photo Parlor located inside the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame can transform you or your group during a fun photo session.  The Railroad is serviced by two vintage locomotives which include "Puffy" the 1896 Steam locomotive the oldest continuously operating steam engine in the South and a 1953 GP-7 diesel locomotive.  The Stockyards Station participates in "Four Hours of Fun in the Stockyards" an educational program in partnership with the Fort Worth Herd, The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and the Cowtown Cattlepen Maze. This education program is perfect for school groups, class trips and more.
