HISTORIC FORT WORTH STOCKYARDS HOST

 8TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS IN THE STOCKYARDS – DECEMBER 1ST

 

Fort Worth, TX – The Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District will host the 8th annual “Christmas in the Stockyards” on Saturday, December 1st from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The western-themed holiday event is free and open to the public.

2007 Christmas In The Stockyards Activities to include:

  • Live musical entertainment
  • Pictures with Stockyards Cowboy Santa
  • Holiday face-painting
  • Legends of Texas Gunfight Shows
  • Horsemanship demonstrations
  • Science experiments
  • Pony rides
  • Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drives & CowKid Roundup
  • Stockyards Christmas Parade begins at 4 p.m.
  • Stockyards Tree Lighting – following parade
  • Coloring Contest & more

 

The annual “Toy Trail Ride for Tots” benefiting Tarrant County Food Bank, Good Fellows and the Northside Inter-Church Agency begins at LaGrave Field at 3:00 p.m. Over 30 mounted riders will then join the “Christmas in the Stockyards” parade following the 4:00 p.m. Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive.
