FORT WORTH, TX – The Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District is “going green” Saturday,March 15th for the 15th Annual Cowtown Goes Green Celebration 12-5:00 p.m. An all-day St. Patrick’s Day event that is appropriate for all ages. In 2006, the event brought over 13,000 attendees to the Fort Worth Stockyards for a festive day of “green” fun.Cowtown Goes Green Parade

12:00 – 4:00 p.m. Pony rides, petting zoo
1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Games and contests with Radio Disney
1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Face-painting, balloon artists
1:00 - 4:30 p.m. Live Irish Band
1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Fort Worth Herd CowCamp – hands on roping lessons, stick horse races & more
4:00 p.m. Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive followed by

Cowtown Goes Green Parade at 4:00 p.m. is a green culmination of local businesses, horseback riding clubs, radio stations and more that travels down Exchange Avenue following the cattle drive.
