Cowtown Goes Green
On March 16th, Stockyards Station will host Cowtown Goes Green, the city’s largest and most family friendly St. Patrick’s Day celebration. The event, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District will feature free activities for kids including pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, games and contests with Radio Disney, live music, gunfights, and our own special Western/Irish themed Cowtown Goes Green paradefollows the 4pm cattle drive and is a green culmination of local businesses, horseback riding clubs, radio stations and more traveling down Exchange Avenue. After the parade, the Legends of Texas will perform a gunfight inside Stockyards Station.
All activities are free of charge and are open to the public.
